Sonora Sports & Fitness Center offers over 32 group exercise classes each week with your Adult Center membership.

 

We also offer Specialty Classes throughout the year; these provide goal-oriented, specific training, up to 6 weeks long in a smaller group setting.

Spinning

Instructor-led, Indoor Cycling

Spinning is an instructor-led, indoor cycling class.  These low-impact, calorie-burning, fun classes are great for all levels.  For a nominal fee of just $4 a class or $10 a month you can add spinning to any membership.  Instructors time their classes to music and coach you on adding resistance to make sure you get the most out of your workout.

Water Aerobics

Included with Adult Center or Adult Pool Membership

Water Aerobics are included with your Adult Center membership or your Adult Pool membership. Great for all levels, this class will make your muscles burn and your heart pump or simply help work and massage your joints without jarring forces.

 

Whether you are looking for something to spice up your workout or just getting back to the gym these classes will motivate you to a new fitness level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Specialty Classes

Highly Specialized Classes Offered at a Small Fee

From time to time we offer highly specialized classes for a small fee. These classes are goal oriented and time sensitive. They run from 2 to 6 weeks and often fill up quickly. Boxing Conditioning, Boot Camp, Train to Hike Half Dome, Kettlebells, Ski Conditioning, Rubber Side Down (a cycling class to get you ready for the road), and Balance (an exercise and nutritional class) are just a few of the fantastic classes we offer throughout the year. Check our calendar often for what’s coming up.
